Summit Aircraft Skis recognized the need for a new light weight aircraft ski design built to the latest Aerospace composite technology. We have literally re-defined the term “Light Weight” by producing an aircraft snow ski that weighs less than half that of other composite aircraft skis.

 

 

Our light weight/low profile design has no measurable airspeed penalty. Mounted to the inner portion of the landing gear, the skis can be easily installed or removed in less than 5 minutes.

Although our skis are designed to be a wheel penetration ski, by removing the wheels they work equally as well as a straight ski. By installing our “extended closeout panel” into the wheel cut out area, you create an excellent light weight, high flotation straight ski.
